Quotes and agreeing work

Every piece of work is quoted in writing and sets out what is included. Work starts once you accept that quote in writing. If what you need changes along the way, we agree the change and any difference in price before it is done.

This work is sold to businesses rather than to consumers, so the rules that apply to consumer contracts, including the usual right to cancel within 14 days, do not apply.

Prices and VAT

No VAT is charged.

If we become VAT registered before an engagement is invoiced, VAT will be added at the prevailing rate, and you will be told before the invoice is issued.

Payment

  • Training: a deposit of half the fee holds your date. The balance is due within 14 days of the session.
  • Time Audits and automation work: half on accepting the quote, half on delivery.

Invoices are payable within 14 days, by bank transfer. The details are on the invoice.

If an invoice is not paid on time we may charge interest and compensation at the rates set by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, which is 8 per cent above the Bank of England base rate plus a fixed sum. In practice we will ring you first, because there is usually a simple explanation.

Cancelling or rescheduling

Things come up, and a booked session can be moved. Because a date held for you cannot be sold to anyone else, how much notice you give matters.

  • More than 10 working days’ notice: we move it to another date, free of charge.
  • Between 5 and 10 working days’ notice: half the fee is payable.
  • Fewer than 5 working days’ notice, or nobody available on the day: the full fee is payable.

If we have to move a booked date, we will offer you the earliest alternative we can. If none of them suits you, anything you have paid for that session is refunded in full.

What you get to keep

Once an invoice is paid in full, the materials and automations produced for you are yours to use, change and keep, including the prompt library and any handover notes. General methods, templates and know-how remain ours to use with other clients.

Nothing is locked to us, and you can take the work elsewhere at any time.

What is promised, and what is not

Work is carried out with reasonable care and skill. Estimates of hours saved are estimates, based on the information given to us, and are not a guarantee of a particular saving.

AI tools can be wrong. Everything is set up so a person can check important output, and you remain responsible for what your business sends to its customers.

Third party tools used in your automations are run by those companies, under their own terms, and their availability and pricing are outside our control.

What we are responsible for

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow to be limited.

Beyond that, our total responsibility for any piece of work is limited to the fees you have paid us for it. We are not responsible for indirect losses, or for lost profit, lost business or savings you expected but did not get.

You stay responsible for checking important output before you rely on it, and for what your business sends to its customers. Everything we build is set up so that a person can do that.

Confidentiality and data protection

Anything we learn about your business while working with you stays confidential. Where we handle personal information on your behalf, we agree in writing what may be used and for what, and access is removed when the work ends. How this website handles personal information is covered in the privacy policy.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
