Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This site uses as few as it can, and nothing optional is set until you say yes.

What this site uses

Necessary cookies

These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They remember your cookie choice so you are not asked on every page, keep forms secure, and keep you signed in if you administer the site. They are not used to track you.

Statistics cookies

These count visits and show which pages are read, so the site can be improved. They are only set if you accept them, and they are not used to identify you personally.

The statistics are collected using Google Analytics. If you accept, Google sets two cookies, listed below.

Every cookie this site uses

CookieSet byWhat it doesHow long it lasts
cmt_consentThis siteRemembers whether you accepted or refused, so you are not asked on every page. This is the only cookie set if you refuse.180 days
_gaGoogle AnalyticsTells one visitor apart from another, so a return visit is not counted as a new person. Only set if you accept.2 years
_ga_C9RQF0BBTYGoogle AnalyticsKeeps track of a single visit. Only set if you accept.2 years

If you administer this website, WordPress also sets cookies to keep you signed in. Those are only set after you log in, and visitors never get them.

Sending a contact or waitlist form sets no cookies at all. Neither does the hours-saved calculator, which works out its answer in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.

What this site does not use

There is no advertising tracking, no cookies that follow you to other websites, and no fonts or scripts loaded from other companies that could record your visit.

Changing your mind

Accepting and rejecting are offered as equal choices, and rejecting is the starting position. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
